Bentley Speed Six. 1930. Winner.

Bentley raced at Le Mans from the very first race. Their first overall win was in the 2nd event in 1924, with the 3 litre car, followed by 2 years of frustration then 4 years in a row with outright wins - 1927, 28, 29 and 30. Bentley was the first marque to win 3 times and Woolf Barnato the first driver to score a hat trick of victories - winning 3 years in a row.

The car shown here is the 1930 winner - piloted by Woolf Barnato and Glen Kidston.
