Canadian American Challenge Cup 1972. Car no. 6 - entered by Roger Penske Enterprises Inc. and driven by George Follmer and Mark Donohue. After the 917 had effectively been banned from World Sportscar racing, Porsche fitted open top bodywork, a huge rear wing and twin turbos. The car produced a rumoured 1,000+ BHP and dominated the 1972 Can Can Championship. George Follmer was the 1972 Can Am Champion.
